For the stay in Montenegro for up to 30 days the citizens of the following countries do not need a visa: EU countries, Andorra, Albania, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Israel, Island, Japan, Canada, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Moldavia, Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Russia, Romania, USA, San Marino, Switzerland, Ukraine, Vatican. Citizens of other countries need visas (which can be issued in any diplomatic mission of Serbia and Montenegro)

There is a mandatory insurance of the vehicles at the border crossings. The altogeter road network in Montenegro is 5.174 km. Two major roads are the Adriatic motorway from Igalo to Ulcinj and the motorway that links the South and the North, from Pertovac, across Podgorica and Kolasin to Bijelo Polje.

- use of the motorcycle helmets for motorbikes riders and co-riders
